Cory is a momma of two amazing little humans and married to her best friend. All of which were love at first sight. Before children, she was a marine biologist and a photographer. After her first was born she decided to slow down, work from home to watch her baby grow. She focused on building her photography business – Ebb and Flow Photography (www.ebbandflow.photography). She specializes in lifestyle portraiture and is passionate about documenting connections, namely maternity, birth, families, of course: babywearing.
Babywearing is extremely important to Cory. Initially babywearing proved a way she could re-connect with her son after an unplanned Cesarean birth and seemingly gain back those precious moments lost at the very beginning. Her daughter, born VBAC at the end of 2015, was wrapped for the first time at just under 36 hours old. She feels safe with her daughter wrapped against her heart while she chases her son during his many toddler shenanigans.
Cory is a birth junkie, VBAC advocate, an optimist to a fault, and believes in peaceful parenting. She has been a vegetarian for over half of her life, loves to crochet, and is a little bonkers about all things seaweed.
